Looking for the colors of Spring

Are you ready for Spring?  OK, we are too.  We sensed that Winter had made its final appearance, and we were slowly edging into a new season…or so we wanted to believe.  On our walks, we were appreciating the colors in New Orleans.  The flowers, the shrubs, the trees, and even the houses offered lovely shades of Spring.  Now, we know that houses don’t change their colors with the change of season, but everything had that fresh look, a “let’s-be-finished-with-drab-winter” look.  So maybe we are engaging in wishful thinking, or maybe we’re just making a cheery assertion that we can, and should, talk about Winter in the past tense.  To welcome Spring, we took in the beauty of New Orlean’s colors.

  1. I gotta say, that mardi gras tree deff caught my eye. I wonder what the tree bore witness to…

  2. Oh my, that house is sensational, like a place out of a movie. How pretty.
