255 nights booked

Yes, before we board our plane for Japan, we will have booked 255 nights in hotels and AirBnBs in 29 locations for our round-the-world trip.  We’ve also reserved 24 flights and trains. Travel arrangements over the next 8+ months are very, very close to completion. That’s how we like it.

Planning (and dreaming and anticipation) is a big part of the adventure: where we’d like to go, what we might do, how many days to stay in each place.  As we read and researched, our plans were refined.

When we travel, we love stepping off the plane and knowing where we’ll be sleeping for the night. We feel assured that we’re staying in the best place we can afford and in proximity to where we want to be.  For us, the nightmare scenario is wandering the streets in search of a hotel, hoping we’ll find one with an available room and in our price range.   How much easier it was to “shop online” for the right place and reserve ahead of time.

If you are interested in one last Mexican meal before you board your plane, we know a family place by the airport. We’d be happy to pick you up and delighted to dine with you again.

Enjoy the fantastic voyage! Work your way down to earth with an empty nestor weekend in 2016?
